BRAGA AT ITS FEET, NATURE AT ITS HEART

Concept

At the Convento Franciscano do Montariol gardens, we embrace the essence of Braga, celebrating its rich heritage and natural beauty. Through our design strategies, we embodied the symbiotic relationship between the city's historical significance and the tranquil allure of the Convento's surrounding landscapes.

With specific elements, we pay homage to the city's rich history and cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from Braga's iconic landmarks, cobblestone streets, and architectural marvels. From the majestic Sé Cathedral to the charming alleyways of the old town, every corner of Braga is infused with a sense of tradition and authenticity, that we made sure to reflect in the front gardens.

The natural sanctuary found within the backyard of Convento Franciscano do Montariol, where the beauty of nature reigns supreme, amazed us from the first glance. Here, imposing greenery, fragrant blooms, and tranquil preserved historical sites create a harmonious small forest, offering respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life. It is a place of contemplation, rejuvenation, and connection—a sanctuary where those who visit it can reconnect with the natural world and find solace in its timeless embrace.
